We refused to make people choose.
Hearthwell began the day a founder watched her sister cry in a benefits office, then cry again in a therapist's chair the same afternoon, telling the same story twice to two people who'd never meet. We thought: it shouldn't be this fractured.
Lisbon & remote
Built around the person, not the problem.
Systems are built around problems: one door for feelings, another for forms, a third for courage. People are not built that way. A hard season arrives all at once, and so should the help.
Since 2019 we've worked with people moving through the seasons that don't fit a single specialist: a new diagnosis, a body that changed, a childhood pattern surfacing at the worst possible time. We stay small on purpose. Every member is matched with one practitioner who carries the whole picture, and we'd rather turn someone toward better care than pretend we're the answer to everything.
We are coaches and navigators, not clinicians. When the work runs deeper than coaching can hold, we say so, clearly and early, and help you find the right hands.
Four commitments that shape every session.
Both halves, one room
The feelings and the filing belong together. We never hand you off mid-story or treat the practical as someone else's job.
Your capacity sets the speed
No work you can't carry home. We build in small, repeatable steps that respect what your nervous system can actually hold this week.
We name our edges
When you need clinical care, a specialist, or a service we're not, we tell you plainly and help you get there.
The same face each week
One practitioner, the whole way through. You never re-explain your life to a stranger to get the next bit of help.
A small team that stays small.
Three practitioners, deliberately. Enough range to hold different seasons, few enough to know every member by name.
